Is Bitcoin here to stay?
Having only emerged in 2008, it is still very early days for Bitcoin as a currency and probably too early to tell whether the currency is here to stay. What does seem to be accepted though is that a digital, virtual, crypto-currency is viable, so even if Bitcoin fails to reach sustainable transaction levels, it seems inevitable that some sort of crypto-currency will be in existence. Alternatives to Bitcoin Whatever happens with Bitcoin, it seems that the world of international finance and currency trading is about to get a bit more interesting.
